The last of the plague

Poor G woke up tossin' cookies this morning. :( Hoping he is the last of this nasty plague, and it doesn't do a second go-round. He woke up coming into our room telling "Eddie" his tummy was hurting. Of course Daddy said to go lay down in his room and sip on some water, that he had to get himself. About 10-15 minutes later he came in telling Eddie he needed his help because he threw up on the floor and need help cleaning it up. Dads!!! He woke up asking why he threw up on the floor, and why he didn't go to the bathroom or get a bucket. I mean Hello! The kid is only 7! Well Luckily momma was feeling better and got up and went to the rescue. I got the floor cleaned up and got him some crackers. Daddy helped too. :) Daddy got  a bucket of water, for furture tossings. He is resting up in his bed. Poor little man. :(

Plagued

Unfortunately, we have been plagued with a stomach bug. :( Eddie stayed home from work Wednessday after waking up with a violent stomach bug. Poor guy, I didn't tell him to "suck it up Marine" this time, as I knew it was bad. However, he totally throws my days off when he's home. I took care of him making him eat a BRAT diet. I now know why they call it a BRAT diet, not because it is a acronym, but because they act like BRATs when you try to get them to eat it! LOL. He went back to work Thursday morning! Thank goodness.

However, when I went to get Reba from her room Thursday morning she had smelled up the whole room and hallway! I changed her diaper and her clothes and sat her down for breakfast. After she was settled, I took her dirty clothes to her room and noticed she had puked all over her bed. Poor baby! :( I cleaned her sheets and then sat with her all day watching cartoons. Later, in the day I started feeling yucky in the tummy. So, far I have yet to get sick, but I am sure it is coming.

Our weekend plans have been shut down so we can all take the time to recover! Thank Goodness for the warm weather, so we can air out the house and Lysol everything REALLY REALLY well!

Happy Valentine's Day

Today Eddie is home sick with a stomach bug. I make him Lysol anything he touches!! So our playdate was cancelled and the fancy dinner I planned won't be as fun.

But dinner is still on!
Chicken N Dumplins by candle light. We only have candles that are scented, so I plan on using wine glasses and putting my fake votives in side and covering the glass with pink, white, and red tissue paper (if i can find it) and tying a pretty pink ribbon around them! Serving apples w/ Cherry Cream Cheese dip as an appetizer-ish food and "Chocolate covered Strawberry" cupcakes.

Gavin loved the candle light dinner! He thought it was pretty special!! And both kids like the cupcakes....of course!!!
